Starting gate

Waiting is like being a racehorse stuck in the starting gate anticipating the start of the race. So much goes through your mind. Why am I still stuck in the gate?  When will the gun go off and the gates open? Am I ready? Can I make it around the bend? Did I do everything I could to prepare? What does the finish line look like? Am I going to make it? That has been my experience with getting The Workshop open. It has been a test of patience for sure, something I haven't always been known for. A Firm Foot Forward at The Workshop is a dream, an ambition, a passion. Taking the leap to pursue it has been one of the most difficult and important decisions I have ever made. I do not regret it all. I believe it in my heart.  Seeing A Firm Foot Forward at The Workshop come to fruition is what keeps me going. For now, I keep prancing and praying in the starting gate waiting for my chance to run. I will be ready, and it will be an amazing run.
